SUPERIOR, WI - The Lake Superior Ice Festival is a community-driven event celebrating the coolest aspects of our region. The festival starts on Friday, January 26th and runs one weekend, through Sunday, January 28th.

This year the festival highlights various icy elements including the Superior Amatuer Hockey Association's Great Lakes Pond Hockey Classic. The hockey classic kicks off with their first game at 6PM on Friday evening. They will also have bonfires, music, food, and beer in a heated tent all weekend. The goal is to grow the pond hockey classic and add more teams! If you wish to register a team for pond hockey, register HERE!

The Midwest Ice Racing Association (MIRA) is hosting a race event near the SS Meteor starting at 11AM on Saturday the 27th. MIRA is comprised of Dirt Bike, Motorcycle, and ATV ice racing. If you wish to register for a MIRA ice racing event, please contact their team HERE!

The Lake Superior Ice Racing Association (LSIRA) is also hosting a race on Allouez Bay at 12NOON on Saturday the 27th. LSIRA is a newly formed group of hardworking volunteers working on creating and promoting a winter experience like no other...Stock Car Racing on Ice!
